Airport Transfers

Shuttle service and private car transfers are available between all area airports and the hotel. Shuttle service departs from the hotel once per hour and is the most economical way to travel to the airport; a private transfer can be arranged for any time and for any number of people. Airport Taxis

If you’re planning to take a taxi from the airport, make sure you find one at the Taxi Stand outside. Don’t accept a ride from anyone inside the airport unless you have booked ahead. The following rates are approximate:

• Newark International Airport (EWR) – 18 miles
  Amount on meter plus a $15 surcharge, plus tolls and tip
  

• John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) – 15 miles
  Flat fare of $45, plus tolls and tip
  

• LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) – 10 miles
  Metered ride, around $30, plus tolls and tip
  
  

To reach the hotel by train:

Closest station is Grand Central Terminal, 2 blocks from hotel. In Grand Central Station you will find all Metro-North trains and #4, #5, #6, #7, and S subway lines.

Penn Station is15 blocks from the hotel. In Penn Station you will find all Amtrak, Long Island Railroad, New Jersey Transit trains, and A, C, E, #1, #2, #3, and #9 subway lines.

To reach the hotel by bus:

The Port Authority Bus Terminal is 8 blocks from the hotel. In Port Authority you will find New Jersey Transit buses, other commuter and long-distance buses, and S, #1, #2, #3, #7, and #9 subway lines.

Driving Directions

From LaGuardia International Airport (LGA):

Take Grand Central Parkway (West) to the Triborough Bridge and follow signs for Manhattan.
Take FDR Drive (South) to the 49th Street / UN garage exit and continue along 49th Street to Second Avenue.
Take Second Avenue to 42nd Street, where the hotel is located on the southeast corner.

From John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK):

Upon exiting the terminal, take the Van Wyck Expressway to the Long Island Expressway (LIE), heading west to the Midtown Tunnel.
Continue west one block to Third Avenue and make a right.
At 42nd Street, make another right and drive one block to Second Avenue, where the hotel is located on the southeast corner.

From Newark International Airport (EWR):

Take the New Jersey Turnpike (North) and follow signs for New York City / Lincoln Tunnel.
Take exit 16E (Lincoln Tunnel).
Upon leaving the tunnel, follow signs for East 42nd Street / Times Square.
Stay on 42nd Street until you reach Second Avenue.
The hotel is located on the southeast corner.

From Northern New Jersey / Northeast Pennsylvania via the George Washington Bridge:

Exit to West Side Highway and drive south to 42nd Street.
Drive east along 42nd Street to Second Avenue.
The hotel is located on the southeast corner.

From Points South (including DC, I-95 North, Route 280):

Follow appropriate route to the Lincoln Tunnel exit.
Take exit 16E (Lincoln Tunnel).
Upon leaving the tunnel, follow signs for East 42nd Street / Times Square.
Stay on 42nd Street until you reach Second Avenue.
The hotel is located on the southeast corner.

From Upstate New York via NY Thruway (I-87):

Take the Thruway (southbound) to the Triborough Bridge and follow signs for Manhattan.
Take Harlem River Drive (southbound) and continue to FDR Drive (southbound).
Take the 49th Street / UN garage exit and proceed to Second Avenue.
Take Second Avenue to 42nd Street.
The hotel is located on the southeast corner.

From Connecticut / New England via I-95 South:

Take I-95 South to the Triborough Bridge and follow signs for Manhattan.
Take Harlem River Drive (southbound) and continue to FDR Drive (southbound).
Take the 49th Street / UN garage exit and proceed to Second Avenue.
Take Second Avenue to 42nd Street.
The hotel is located on the southeast corner.

From Long Island:

Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE) to New York City, which will bring you to the Queens Midtown Tunnel.
Upon leaving the tunnel, continue to Third Avenue and turn right towards 42nd Street.
Turn right onto 42nd Street and go one street to Second Avenue.
The hotel is located on the southeast corner.

Parking

Hotel parking is available at the rate of $45 for a car, and $55 for an SUV, for each 24-hour period.
There is a $5 fee for in-and-out privileges each time you leave the garage.
